FinPost Express Website Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the FinPost Express website (hereinafter "Website", "Service") and the provision of parcel delivery services from Finland to CIS countries. By placing an order on the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the Service.

1. General Information

The operator of the Website and services is: FinPost Express Email: help@finpost.com For any questions related to orders, payment, or delivery, please contact us at the above email address.

2. Website Description

FinPost Express provides services for accepting, processing, and forwarding postal shipments (parcels) of individuals from Finland to CIS countries. The Website allows you to place a delivery order, pay for the service, and track the status of your shipment. FinPost Express is not the manufacturer or seller of goods included in parcels — you are purchasing exclusively a delivery service.

3. User Registration

3.1. Creating an account to use the Service is not required — you can place an order without registration by providing the necessary contact details. 3.2. The Website services may only be used by persons who have reached 18 years of age. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a contract. 3.3. By providing data when placing an order (full name, address, recipient contact details), you guarantee their accuracy and completeness.

4. Payment

4.1. Payment for services is made using the following methods: bank cards, as well as through the PayPal payment system. 4.2. Funds are debited after the order is confirmed by FinPost Express. Until confirmation, the order is not considered accepted for processing.

5. Delivery and Service Provision

5.1. FinPost Express delivers parcels from Finland to the following countries: Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. 5.2. Estimated delivery time is from 10 to 24 working days. These times are approximate and may vary depending on logistics conditions, customs operations, transport partners, and circumstances beyond FinPost Express's control. FinPost Express does not guarantee delivery by a specific date. 5.3. Delivery costs are paid by the person placing the order (sender), unless otherwise expressly agreed by the parties. 5.4. The sender must provide accurate and truthful information about the parcel contents, weight, and recipient. FinPost Express reserves the right to request additional information or refuse to forward a shipment whose contents do not match the declared information.

6. Returns and Order Cancellation

6.1. Order cancellation and refund are possible provided that the parcel has not yet been handed over to the logistics chain (has not been dispatched). After the parcel has been handed over to the carrier, order cancellation is not possible. 6.2. No specific deadline for order cancellation is established — cancellation is possible at any time before the parcel is actually dispatched. 6.3. Upon approval of the refund, funds are transferred within 14 (fourteen) working days to the account or payment method chosen by the client.

7. Guarantees and Limitation of Liability

7.1. FinPost Express does not provide guarantees regarding the contents of forwarded parcels, as it is not the seller of the enclosed goods. 7.2. FinPost Express is liable for loss or damage to parcels in accordance with applicable law. FinPost Express's liability for loss or damage to goods is determined as follows for each shipment: — Liability is limited to two times the cost of delivery for the respective shipment. 7.3. FinPost Express is released from liability — regardless of the legal basis — if and to the extent that the damage was caused by circumstances which FinPost Express could not avoid even with due diligence, and whose consequences FinPost Express could not prevent. This applies in particular to cases where the damage was caused at the instruction of the client or their representative, as well as where the damage is caused by circumstances beyond FinPost Express's control, such as: — force majeure events (natural disasters, military actions, blockades, confiscation of the parcel by government agencies); — the nature of the goods (chemical or physical properties of the products); — riots and civil disturbances; — labor disputes and strikes; — electrical or magnetic damage to data or records.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials posted on the Website, including texts, photographs, logo, and design elements, are the property of FinPost Express and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Use, copying, reproduction, or distribution of these materials without prior written consent of FinPost Express is prohibited.

Violation of these rules gives FinPost Express the right to refuse service and/or cancel the order without refund if the violation is related to illegal actions of the user.

10. Sanctions, Export Control, and Prohibited Items

10.1. FinPost Express operates in compliance with applicable European Union and Finnish legislation on sanctions and export control, including restrictions applicable to specific countries, individuals, legal entities, and dual-use goods. 10.2. The sender is independently responsible for verifying that the parcel contents and recipient are not subject to sanctions lists and export restrictions. FinPost Express reserves the right to request additional information, suspend or refuse to provide the service, and to transmit order information to competent authorities if there are suspicions of violation of this clause. 10.4. FinPost Express reserves the right, without prior notice and without compensation for damages, to refuse acceptance, suspend forwarding, or confiscate/hand over to authorities a parcel if its contents or the circumstances of the transaction violate applicable sanctions requirements. This section is of a general nature; additional legal verification is recommended taking into account the current EU sanctions regimes regarding specific destination countries.

11. Confidentiality and Cookies

11.1. The processing of users' personal data is governed by a separate document — the FinPost Express Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. 11.2.
